Tired of everything being about the holidays?  Don’t blame you.  For those weary of holiday cheer and ready to hear about something else…how about dining in the dark?  Not by candlelight or with low lighting.  The dark.  As in no lights. 

The restaurant Opaque at the historic The U.S. Grant Hotel (in Gaslamp) offers this unique experience.  For two hours - and $99 per person - you experience a three-course meal through touch and taste and without seeing the food.  Certainly makes picking out a date outfit easier.  After all, who’s going to see it?
