Drop by Heaven Sent Desserts in North Park this weekend.  Owner Lachlan Oliver, a former Air Force medic, is hosting Sweeten a Soldier’s Life, a three day event to raise money for soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.  

So, go to Heaven Sent today through Sunday (28th-30th), indulge in a sugar high and help raise money for wheelchair ramps and other necessities for some well-deserving folks.  And if that doesn’t convince you, maybe this will:  Heaven Sent has Aztec Molten Lava Cake, Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie and Dutch Apple Pie. 

How can you possible say no to that?
