Calling All Foodies

If you love food and love gambling - and who doesn’t love those two in combination - here’s one for you.  Chef Rocco Dispirito will give a cooking demonstration and sign his new cookbook, Rocco’s Real Life Recipes:  Fast Flavor For Every Day, at Harrah’s Rincon on Tuesday (Dec. 11th) starting at 3:00 p.m.

For those who don’t know Rocco, he’s described in the promo for this event as “one of the cooking world’s biggest stars.”  Yeah, that sounds like a bit of an overstatement.  Unfortunately, he is best known for being the subject of a reality show a few years back called The Restaurant.  Let’s just say that Rocco did not come off looking great.  He acted like a…well, big fat jerk.  So much so that the co-owner of his restaurant closed it down and reopened it without Rocco.  Rocco’s reputation only went down from there.  But, the guy can cook. And, cooking is what he’ll be doing at Rincon, so check it out.
